About Northern Glow

Northern Glow was founded in March 2022 from a passion for creating beautiful, natural candles and wax melts. We use a completely natural wax blend of Rapeseed and Coconut, hand-poured right here in Northumberland.

I'm Lindsey, the founder of Northern Glow. After a fulfilling 25-year career in the British Army, reaching the rank of Warrant Officer Class 2, I started looking towards the future. I'd always dreamed of owning a business, but the right idea hadn't sparked yet.

One day, the inspiration came while making candles and wax melts for my family. The creative process resonated with me and Northern Glow was born.

When I'm not crafting candles, you can find me walking my Sprocker Spaniel, Bracken, along the stunning Northumberland coast.
